Recently, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com took part in a Q&A session to hint that the Celtic Warrior is indeed out of action due to injury. Additionally, he revealed some surprising details on it. As per him, many of the superstars believed that Sheamus should have stopped wrestling much earlier considering his injured body,

“I had heard last year that there were a lot of people that were surprised that Sheamus could still wrestle as effectively as he could considering some of the injury issues and the pain that he had been in.”

The Celtic Warrior was dealing with a lot of pain for the past couple of years due to neck pain. It bothered him a lot after which WWE started protecting him by creating the tag team of The Bar. Sheamus and Cesaro proved to be effective increasing the longevity of his WWE career,

“Not as if they were hoping that or the company was hoping that, but that wrestler personally was hoping that Sheamus could get through this WrestleMania and he did and that was about it. No update yet, but man, with a bad neck and then you get a concussion on top of that, that’s not hot.”

We should mention that Sheamus has been dealing with spinal stenosis condition for a long time. This kind of concussion has forced superstars like Edge or Paige to announce retirement effectively, immediately. Sheamus must be lucky enough to continue wrestling despite the same concussion. However, he can’t continue it forever and might have to call it a quit, sooner.
