WWE News: Huge Gauntlet Match Announced On Smackdown With An Added Stipulation

The go-home episode of Smackdown Live for Elimination Chamber is hosting a huge Gauntlet match. It will hand over the chance to the competitors to take the ultimate advantage at this Sunday’s pay-per-view match over the WWE Championship. A major stipulation added to this Gauntlet contest can act as a big factor while determining the outcome.

Changes coming up at Elimination Chamber title match

Major name to return on Smackdown

As disclosed by WWE.com, the six competitors of Elimination Chamber will compete on Smackdown in this Gauntlet match. The winner of this bout will have the privilege of entering the devastating structure, very last. This would be a like winning a lucky draw for the winner and take the ultimate advantage heading into the match.

Here’s the announcement from WWE.com,

“A Gauntlet Match will take place this Tuesday night on SmackDown LIVE between the six combatants who will battle in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match at the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event. WWE Champion “The New” Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, Mustafa Ali, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, and Samoa Joe will all run the gauntlet and the last Superstar standing will earn the right to enter the Elimination Chamber last on Feb. 17.”

Two of the names will start the match on Smackdown on a random basis. One of them will become the winner via pinfall or submission only to face the next opponent coming out from the six names. The second match will be underway under the same rules.

This would continue until all the six men get involved in the lineup. The last man getting the victory will become the ultimate winner. He will also have the chance to enter the Elimination Chamber at the very last spot. We want to mention how this would help the winner of this Smackdown gauntlet contest on this Sunday night.

Two men start the Elimination Chamber battle with four men locked inside the pods around the four corners. They come out after every five minutes on a basis of a random draw. As time progresses, superstars’ bodies start to give up after suffering the wrath of this dangerous structure surrounded by tons of steel.

So it’s obvious that the man who will enter last inside the Elimination Chamber would be much fresh in comparison to the opponents. It will give him the ultimate upper-hand in this contest that takes place under No-Disqualification rules. The six prime names from Smackdown would be charged up to take advantage of this sudden Gauntlet bout set for tonight.
