Jeff Hardy is one of the prime babyface names on Smackdown Live. He is currently in the middle of a rivalry against Samoa Joe. Two weeks ago, he was out on the show to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his career. It was one of those emotional segments where fans and superstars were applauding to the illustrious career that he had. But the Samoan Submission Machine was not happy about this.
Samoa Joe decided to interrupt the segment bringing up the negativity surrounding the career of Jeff Hardy. Most of know about the alcohol addiction that he had over the entire span of his career. It led him into trouble for multiple occasions. WWE even suspended him on two occasions for not getting over with it. Recently, a WWE Network special also aired channeling the same.

We should also mention that Jeff Hardy and Samoa Joe were part of the TNA roster at one point. They know each other very well which is why the latter one is blasting the former WWE Champion with harsh comments. He went one step closer to a recent live event by delivering an attack to his opponent. WWE also published the footage of the same trying to extend the storyline on Smackdown.

WWE hosted a live event at Winnipeg where Jeff Hardy was about to perform in a match. He was making the iconic entrance before a raucous crowd. But the sequences could not be completed as Samoa Joe came from behind and ambushed him. The scheduled match did not happen due to this sudden attack that left Hardy lying on his back.
The attacker wanted to go below the belt, once again. He blamed Hardy’s drinking habit which has barred him from the competition. Here are his quotes after the heinous assault,
“Ah, Jeff Hardy unconscious. Once again your hero has let you down and will not be in action tonight. So once again, remember, drink responsibly!”
Jeff Hardy was very upset that they could not see their favorite superstar in action. But the extension of this storyline angle suggests that they are going to settle things inside the ring, sooner. WWE TLC will take place on this Sunday night. We hope to see a match booked between these two superstars at the upcoming show.
