WWE Universe in India is up for a treat in the first week of December. Matt Hardy will be visiting our country as part of a promotional tour hosted by the WWE. Sony Pictures Network and Hindustan Times broke the news first as well as the WWE on their social media handle. We expect to receive further details on the tour in near future.
Why Matt Hardy’s career is in jeopardy?
Matt Hardy is living legend in the pro-wrestling circuit. He debuted in the WWE with Jeff Hardy two decades ago. This week on Smackdown Live, we have seen the career celebration of Jeff Hardy for spending 20 years. This is a similar accolade belonging to the elder Hardy, as well. The veteran would be a handy name for the WWE to promote their contents.
Two more title matches expected at TLC
As per the current news, Matt Hardy will be visiting two cities, Mumbai and Chennai. The fans of these two places will get to see him in media sessions. Plus, there should be some sort of fan feasts where lucky fans will get to have a meet-and-greet session with him. Overall, this should be a wonderful experience for the fans.

WWE is trying to expand their wings in the subcontinent for quite sometimes. So we often heard about some big names arriving in India for promotional purposes over the past couple of years. Matt Hardy is the newest name in this list who should have millions of fans across India. Hence this tour should be a big success.
The former tag team champion has also sent out a promotional video about his upcoming tour. He is currently away from WWE programming owing to an undisclosed injury. This has been going on for a long time that might have already ended his wrestling career. Hence the company can use him in more such promotional events.
Jeff and Matt Hardy aka Team Extreme have been one of the integral parts of the Attitude Era. Their matches with Edge-Christian and the Dudley Boyz paved the way for a glorious future for the tag team division in the WWE. Matt Hardy has won nine tag team championships in his whole career which is an incredible figure.
He enjoyed a decent title run in the singles career, as well. This earned him the US Championship, ECW Championship and also the Cruiserweight Championship. Matt Hardy wrestled last in a match on Raw on the 13th August episode before suffering the injury. But he noted that “his last WWE match hasn’t happened yet.”
