Rumors broke out in recent times claiming that Paige could make a comeback to in-ring competition. This generated some excitement to the pro-wrestling fans. This lady is just 25 years old when she had to take retirement. A neck concussion ended her career, all of a sudden producing one of the saddest moments in WWE.

But Paige herself noted on these rumors on Twitter. She wiped out all the chances saying that only a single bump can create a paralytic condition on her body. We have seen her in such a state in her last match where the concussion actually surfaced. So doctors and she herself do not want to take any chances with her body.
Reason why WWE made Paige Smackdown GM
This means she can do anything for the rest of her career except for wrestling. As much as it would be hard for her, she had to accept it and move forward. Paige opened up on her current condition in an interview with Planeta Wrestling. She hopes that various opportunities should be on her way.
WWE introduced Paige to us as the Smackdown general manager the night after her retirement. Since then she has done a tremendous job on the blue brand. Her global popularity makes her a huge star attraction, every Tuesday night. But she definitely wants to do a lot more,
“I would do anything. Right now I’m really happy being SmackDown General Manager. It can open so many different doors. I can be so many different characters just being SmackDown General Manager. I can be a good guy, bad guy, whatever I want. I would love to be a manager kinda like Paul Heyman one day. I would love to do anything, anything.”
Speaking of this, Paige mentioned she would love to transition to a different role. Someday, the general manager could become a manager just like Paul Heyman. Her role would be to manage superstars to elevate their levels. She also let us knew that Ronda Rousey is her first choice whom she wants to take under her wings,
“Oh man, who would I love to manage? Everybody. I wanted to manage Ronda [Rousey] at one point but she doesn’t need me, she doesn’t need me Just anyone. Even if it’s men too, bring ‘em on.”
The former WWE Divas Champion actually mentioned a valid point for her future WWE career. Her contract with the company will come to an end in 2019. If she extends the deal then WWE has to utilize her in a non-competitive role. This GM role could not be a permanent solution for her. So becoming a great manager for even a male superstar would be a great idea. This will make Paige a relevant name on TV for a long time.
