WWE News: Potential Spoiler On WWE Championship Match At Money In The Bank
Kofi Kingston is set to have his first pay-per-view title defense at Money in the Bank event. He won the WWE Championship back it Wrestlemania turning the show into Kofi-Mania. Daniel Bryan became victim to a man with an undying spirit willing to do anything to capture the gold. Many believe it was perhaps the most inspiring journey that a WWE superstar ever had.
There’s no denying about it as WWE made Kofi Kingston the first black champion in the company’s history. Now an acid test is waiting for him when he defends the WWE title against Kevin Owens. This man betrayed him following Wrestlemania with a blindside attack starting a fresh rivalry. The bad blood between these two has grown to the limit before the fights break out at Money in the Bank.
So, the question remains who will walk out of the WWE Championship match on this Sunday? Kofi Kingston has all the support from the WWE Universe, being the prime babyface of Smackdown roster. But Kevin Owens has a bulls-eye on the most prestigious prize in sports entertainment. He is willing to snatch the title from a man whom he does think relevant to carry the title.
But a reliable source hinted that the ongoing title run is not coming to an end, sooner. Slice Wrestling reported that WWE officials are high on Kofi Kingston who is likely to have a lengthy title reign. There’s no way that he is dropping the belt to Kevin Owens at Money in the Bank.
