When it comes to Randy Orton, he’s a sure-shot bonafide future WWE Hall of Famer unless his current teasing turns out to be true. Being a third-generation superstar, he lived to all the hypes by becoming one of the premier faces of WWE programming for over the past 15 years.
Cain Velasquez makes Raw debut
WWE treated him as an elite talent on the roster and thereby made him a 13-time world champion. Now it looks like he’s over with the WWE and is looking forward to becoming truly ‘elite’.
The Rock’s respond to Wrestlemania challenge
Randy Orton posted a cryptic picture on his Instagram account. The photo showed him looking at a sign that says “ELITE LEVEL.” The caption of the post read “tick tock tick tock” which has tags with Riddick Moss, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder, Luke Harper, All Elite Wrestling Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes, and AEW World Champion Chris Jericho.
The post grabbed the attention of the IWC as they went ga-ga over the fact that Randy Orton may finally leave the WWE to join All Elite Wrestling. The rumors even fired up as Jericho responded to him saying, “Send in a tape and some pix and I’ll see what I Can do….??”
This does not come as a surprise as Y2J has been helping out people to sign with AEW in the recent past. Could Orton be the next name? That remains a million-dollar question, as of now.
Additional reports from wrestlingINC.com suggested that Randy Orton will be over with the WWE, next year. His current contract will be over in 2020 and who knows whether the Viper chooses to leave the brand owned by Vince McMahon. Check out the updates from the source,
“Back in 2010, it was reported that Orton signed a ten-year deal with WWE. With his contract coming up soon and Orton looking for an easier schedule, a tease to AEW could help in potential contract talks with both AEW and WWE. During a recent Twitch stream of Call of Duty, Orton praised AEW’s debut on TNT, and also talking about doing a potential match with Sammy Guevara down the line.”
“Cody and Sammy Guevara, that kid can do some s–t,” Orton admitted. “I’d love to work with that kid. They had a great match. I thought opening the show with that match was a good idea and well received.”
