Evolution PPV is all set to take place in the month of October. The hype-ups around the event have already begun for quite sometimes. WWE intends to leave no stones unturned to make this a successful affair. Hence they already announced one of the main events of the show.
WWE.com made an announcement that Trish Stratus will return to in-ring competition at Evolution. She will compete against Alexa Bliss in a singles contest, as per the official statement,
“As if WWE Evolution, the groundbreaking all-women pay-per-view, wasn’t already historic enough, Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss will face seven-time Women’s Champion Trish Stratus in what is sure to be a match for the ages. WWE Evolution will stream live on WWE Network, featuring women’s championship matches from Raw, SmackDown LIVE, NXT, and NXT UK, as well as the final of the second annual Mae Young Classic 2018.”
Now both these ladies are featuring on the official poster of Evolution. But two of the cornerstones have been missing from this. Brie and Nikki Bella are the two names in-concern who raised eyebrows for the same reason.
WWE has released the official poster of the Evolution PPV. It featured all the regular roster members including Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Kairi Sane and even WWE Hall of Famer’s Trish Stratus & Lita. But Brie and Nikki Bella are not anywhere on it. This certainly left the pro-wrestling world buzzing about it.
WWE always considers these two as the top names of the company. They treated them as the franchise players for a long time. So there should be a strong reason behind leaving Brie and Nikki Bella from the promotional poster. One of them should be the fact that they are no more regular performers.
But that goes for Trish and Lita, too. So it might be the reason that WWE does not want to reveal the main event of the Evolution PPV event. Several reports have already suggested that Ronda Rousey vs. Nikki Bella will be the headliner of the all-women PPV. Keeping Bella’s face would solidify the speculation.
The officials surely do not want to disclose the event, this much earlier. This would be a huge attraction for the fans. Lastly, this could simply mean that Brie and Nikki Bella might not be a significant part of the Evolution PPV, at all. However, they are present in the programming starting from Summerslam. So the creative team should have some future planning with the twins.
