Last night these two battled in a match with special capacity that ended in a shocking fashion.

Two Royal Rumble competitors showed up to deliver strong statements heading into this Sunday’s matchup. Before that, we got some of the most intensifying actions on Smackdown Live. Rey Mysterio battled Andrade Cien Almas in a two-out-of-three falls match. Whoever gets two pinfalls will become the winner of this match. The legendary Rey Mysterio started this match on Smackdown with a number of Hurricurana moves.

The high-flying actions continued as Rey Mysterio set Andrade up on the top rope. While going for another Hurricurana, Andrade caught him with a top rope powerbomb that provided him the first pinfall of the match. The Master of 619 took sometimes before getting involved in the match, again. Andrade Cien Almas picked him up for another powerbomb and hit onto the ropes before hitting it.

Rey Mysterio kicked out of it, this time around to stay alive into this match on Smackdown. He kicked into the head of Andrade and hit an amazing inverted piledriver aka Canadian destroyer to get the second pinfall of the match. The score got settled to 1-1 after which the contest becomes more intensifying.

Andrade Cien Almas went outside the ring to recuperate for the third segment of this Smackdown main event. Rey Mysterio slid under the bottom rope to deliver a splash outside the ring. But his opponent caught him and went for the Hammerlock DDT outside the ring. Mysterio managed to dodge it and hit a 619 instead. But he could not deliver the splash due to interference.

Samoa Joe came from behind and locked in the Coquina Clutch on Rey Mysterio to disqualify the bout. This was his opportunity to send a big message to the Royal Rumble participants. However, Randy Orton appeared from behind and delivered an RKO out of nowhere. The Viper seemed more than ready on Smackdown to enter the battle royal one more time to punch his ticket to Wrestlemania 35.
