Seth Rollins has been dealing with a Lunatic Problem on WWE Raw for the past several weeks. Dean Ambrose stabbed him from the back weeks ago in order to turn into a heel superstar. A number of attacks followed by him since then. His mind games reached new heights barely leaving room for the Intercontinental Champion to capitalize.

Even WWE Raw on last week ended on the same note. Seth Rollins got Dean Ambrose in the middle of the ring, the exact place where he wanted the heel to be. But a low blow ruined the day for him as Ambrose hit him with a two Dirty Deeds. We expected a backup plan from the IC champ, this week to come up with a retribution.

In addition to that, we were about to see an Intercontinental Championship Open Challenge on WWE Raw. Whatever the circumstances are, Seth Rollins is a fighting champion who would back down to nothing. So WWE.com confirmed prior to the show about this title match. We were curious to see who from the roster would have accepted the challenge.

The Architect did receive an advantage since Dean Ambrose denied to stay away from WWE Raw feigning an injury. He claimed to have a rabies shot as the doctors pushed some injections on his body. Meanwhile, Seth Rollins arrived in Minneapolis going straight to call out one of the WWE Raw roster members to accept the open challenge. None other than Dolph Ziggler’s music hit the arena as he wanted to have a rematch with the Architect.

This appearance confirmed that Dolph Ziggler is not suffering from any injuries as claimed by some sources. He claimed to be the best in the world before the start of the match. Ziggler punished the champion for the better part of the match as he missed a top rope splash. He connected with a snap DDT and a Famouser for near falls.

Seth Rollins tried to counter by coming up with the Avada Kedavda. The contender blocked a Blackout attempt by hitting the Zig-zag on him. But Rollins kicked out to stay alive in the match. Ziggler set his opponent up for a top rope move. But Rollins delivered the superplex followed by the Falcon Arrow to pick up the win. He retained the Intercontinental Championship on WWE Raw to keep the TLC title match intact with Dean Ambrose.
