Update on Brock Lesnar’s new contract

Contracts for these WWE superstars gets automatically renewed following their expiry. Now every year there comes a time when multiple names have to extend their deals to stay under the wings of WWE. Recent reports from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggested the time will come at the beginning of 2019.

WWE had signed multiple names in the start of 2016 for a 3 year of deals. It means most of their contracts will run out in time of Royal Rumble, next year. AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are those names whose names will be in stakes in this context.

According to the veteran wrestling journalist, no one is likely to leave the WWE. But there are some rumors going around Nakamura. His former employer NJPW is intending to bring him under their wings, once again. So if he feels that WWE is not utilizing him properly then there is a slight chance of him leaving to Japan. Here are the comments from the source,

“It wouldn’t completely shock me. I know they do want him back. There will be attempts for all those guys. Gallows and Anderson, if they wanna go back there, they can go back there. They’re kind of treading water [in WWE]. Who knows how that’s gonna go. I don’t anticipate anyone going back there [but] you just don’t know how people feel and what people want out of life.”

AJ Styles has no whatsoever reason to leave WWE since the company treats him as the face of the Smackdown Live brand. But his former Bullet Club members, Gallows and Anderson might have since they have not achieved anything significant since arriving in the WWE. We have to wait and watch what happens around these WWE superstars as next year begins.
