WWE News: The Bar Destroyed Shane McMahon & The Miz On Smackdown Live
Royal Rumble received a fresh match card as promised by McMahons by the end of 2018. Several fresh matchups will be in store all for the championships present on the roster. Smackdown has been able to arrange their storylines in an organized manner. So each of their titles will be on the line at the upcoming PPV that includes the tag team titles.
The Bar has received an odd team against them in the form of Shane McMahon and The Miz. Not even our wildest dream, we have dreamt of seeing these two performing as a tag team. But they agreed to act in such a dual capacity and eventually had the title opportunity to prove that they are the world’s best tag team.
Last week, the babyface team picked up all the momentums in their favor on the occasion of Shane McMahon birthday. The Miz defeated Sheamus in a singles contest despite Cesaro’s interference. The Smackdown commissioner played a pivotal role in doing so. He pledged to carry on the momentum on last night’s show.
The Miz was up against Cesaro in another one-on-one match. This time around, he was unable to provide a happy ending for his team despite the presence of Shane McMahon in his corner. Cesaro started this match on Smackdown with a series of uppercuts and a headlock. Miz tried to backfire but got caught midair by his opponent. Still, he was able to lock in the Figure Four on Cesaro but Sheamus dragged him out of the ring.
The A-lister was in full control of the match thereafter hitting Daniel Bryan like dropkicks into the ring post. He went to the top rope trying to come up with flying move but got caught in an uppercut. Cesaro tried to pick up the win by putting his legs into the ropes. But Shane McMahon pushed him away. Sheamus saw this and started a brawl with McMahon outside of the ring on Smackdown.
The Miz failed to take advantage of the chaos and digested a Neutralizer from Cesaro for the pinfall loss. After the match, Sheamus and Cesaro delivered a post-match beatdown on a helpless Shane McMahon. A beaten Miz tried to help his partner but received a Brogue Kick instead. The Bar put Miz’ body on the announce table and delivered a powerbomb to Shane McMahon through it. The heel team celebrated by standing tall following the match.
