Things in the WWE Raw women’s division are getting heated up before Hell in a Cell PPV. Evolution PPV is waiting right after this gimmick-based event which is bringing back the former women’s champions, onboard. The Bella Twins were already present on WWE Raw. Last time it turned out to be none other than Trish Stratus to give a pleasant surprise to the fans.
It happened during the musical performance segment of Elias on WWE Raw. He was out to deliver a musical performance in front of the Toronto crowd. They only received some insulting comments from the heel superstar. Elias mentioned there ‘is no city lower or more bottom feeding than Toronto’. Right after this insult, the music of Trish Stratus filled up the arena.
The WWE Hall of Famer returned to the scene in her hometown to shake things up for the Hell in a Cell PPV. Elias insults Trish Stratus by saying that he is not willing to date somebody in her sixties. This caused a big slap to the face of Elias. The guitarist had to leave the ring, thereafter.
Ronda Rousey and Natalya hit the ring to share a pose with the all-time greatest women’s champion in the WWE. Sooner, Alexa Bliss arrived on WWE Raw with Mickie James and Alicia Fox. She seemed confident to talk about her rematch against Ronda Rousey for the WWE Raw women’s championship.
The Goddess warned Trish Stratus that doing yoga would not help her at the Evolution PPV. The doctors medically cleared Alexa Bliss to compete at Hell in a Cell as well as Evolution. So, she was invoking her rematch clause at the October 16th PPV event. Ronda Rousey will have her first title defense as per WWE.com,
“Having just won the Raw Women’s Championship, Ronda Rousey will make her first defense of the title at WWE Hell in a Cell against its former bearer, Alexa Bliss. Tune in to WWE Hell in a Cell to see the action when Rousey defends her title against Bliss, streaming live Sunday, Sept. 16, on the award-winning WWE Network.”
However, Alexa Bliss and co. failed to deliver in the presence of Trish Stratus. Alicia Fox lost a match after tapping out to Natalya on WWE Raw. Thereafter, the former champion and her buddies had to back off from the ring. There are doubts whether she could be successful at Hell in a Cell.
