Thereafter, WWE booked John Cena in a one-off appearance for the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia. He renewed his rivalry with Triple H to deliver a good match. This time he turned out to be victorious to go into an indefinite hiatus. We expected his comeback in time for Summerslam which was not the case. He missed the biggest event of the summer after over a decade.

Although this hiatus did not keep him out of the media attention. Nikki Bella and John Cena had a roller-coaster ride through this year. They are not together anymore after calling off the dream ending. The internet has been trying to figure out what has gone wrong between these two in the bygone months.
Now the updated listings of WWE.com has booked John Cena in another appearance in China. WWE Raw will head back to the eastern region of the world to cater to the fanbase. The franchise player of the company has immense popularity there which is why we suppose he will headline the live event yet again.
There were speculations about whether this would be his return to the storyline perspective on WWE Raw. But recent updates from PWInsider.com clarified that it’s just another one-off appearance for a house show purpose. Apparently, he will compete in a six-man tag team match on that night. Shanghai is the place to be to catch the special show on tomorrow night.
The Cenation Leader dropped a hint of this huge tag team match by posting ‘6th move of doom’ on the social media. It was just an indication of the upcoming match and nothing else. The currently listed matchups for the China live event will see a main-event match between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman. Plus, Ronda Rousey will also defend the Raw women’s title against Alexa Bliss. This is her first match in China.
We should note that John Cena is also set to make an appearance on the WWE Super Show Down in Melbourne, Australia on October 8th. He will compete against Kevin Owens in a singles contest.
