WWE News: Update On Finn Balor’s Injury And His WWE TLC Match
WWE gave us a surprising news on this week’s episode of WWE Raw. One of the mainstay babyface names in the form of Finn Balor missed the show from San Diego, California. The reason behind the same is an injury. However, we do not have an idea about this potential injury. Rumors started roaming whether he will be able to compete at WWE TLC or not. WWE booked him in a marquee match against Drew McIntyre.
His absence continued on Mixed Match Challenge, too that took place on Tuesday night after Smackdown. The team of Finn Balor and Bayley were the favorites to end up as the winners. But Apollo Crews had to replace him on an emergency basis who came up short. Team B n B is no more a part of the WWE MMC season II after digesting the loss at semi-finale. The question still remains whether we will see him at WWE TLC or not.
PWInsider.com gave an update on his status that was positive. As per them, Finn Balor is not dealing with an injury. Rather, he is suffering from an illness. So WWE sent him home earlier from this past weekend’s live events to recuperate as early as possible. The given time-off should be enough to help him get back his health. The match against Drew McIntyre at WWE TLC should be on, thereby.
It’s still confusing whether WWE is spreading false rumors just for creating a kayfabe angle. Finn Balor not appearing at Mixed Match Challenge gave them a reason to keep Team B n B out of the show. It was not possible anyway that the former Universal Champion competes in two different matches on one single night. The final match of WWE MMC will also take place at this Sunday’s PPV event.
Probably eyeing the same, the officials gave Finn Balor a time-off. He worked on last week’s Wednesday night in a live event took place in Santiago, Chile. He competed a Triple Threat match against McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler. The very next night he returned home and ever since we have not spotted him on any of the shows.
Hopefully, Finn Balor will be there at WWE TLC delivering the already scheduled match against Drew McIntyre. WWE Raw is missing names like Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn already. They can’t afford another name to join the list, at all.
