Daniel Bryan has not been able to close Wrestlemania as intended. He lost the WWE Championship against the contender Kofi Kingston much to the delight of the fans. Several reports confirmed his injury, thereafter. He has not returned to in-ring competition since then. This puts his WWE status in jeopardy as the company has not provided any official update on his injury.

Will Daniel Bryan announce retirement again?

The former eco-friendly WWE Champion walked into Wrestlemania 35 to crush the dream of Kofi Kingston to become a WWE Champion since childhood. However, Kofi-Mania ran wild through him on that night forcing to drop the prime title. Additionally, reports went viral after the night that Daniel Bryan picked up an injury due to which he missed Superstar Shakeup process.

The absence of the former WWE Champion is a big concern among the fans given his history with neck concussions. But WWE has not revealed anything officially whether his injury is real or kayfabe. However, a reliable source has recently given an update and confirmed that Daniel Bryan is indeed recuperating from a legitimate injury.

As previously reported via Wrestling Observer, Daniel Bryan suffered a potential injury. Now PWInsider.com confirmed the same via backstage personnel. The source obviously wanted to seek some details regarding this story when they got to know that WWE is willing to keep it a ‘closely-guarded secret’.

This comes as a big headache for the fans who are aware of the history with Daniel Bryan. Back in 2014, the neck concussions started bothering him that the WWE officials took seriously and never allowed him to come back in a full-time role. Two years later, the sad day arrived when the leader of the YES movement had to announce retirement.

But he kept on faith on the doctors and kept fighting for his dreams to make a comeback. In 2018, Daniel Bryan became successful in getting the clean-chit from the WWE doctors and coming back to wrestling, again. Back in November, he picked up the WWE Championship to go to the top of the food chain, again. Hopefully, the concussion has not come back to ruin his career, again.
