Charlotte Flair is in a heated feud with Becky Lynch on Smackdown Live. The feud is continuing since Summerslam on the blue brand. This might be a conscious decision to keep The Queen on the title picture. She is the lioness of the current women’s roster who could always steal the spotlight. Assumably, she could be an asset to the company in Total Divas show, as well.

But WWE would be unhappy to learn that Charlotte Flair denied the offer. Apparently, the officials came up with a lucrative offer to star in Total Divas show. But she turned down it, showing no interest in it. Well, this could be a huge boost to the tv ratings of the E Network reality TV series. Unfortunately, the producers have lost this chance.
Many of the fans would wonder why Charlotte Flair let this chance go out of her hands. This was a golden opportunity for her to make more mainstream attention. Several names from the female locker room would go on to make name for themselves by starring on Total Divas. Ask the Bella Twins or Eva Marie about their benefit from this show.
Recently, Charlotte Flair talked to Yahoo clarifying the reason behind starring on Total Divas show. For her, the on-screen persona means everything. She wants to show more of it to the fans rather than her original personality from real life. So it would be hard for her to allow camera persons in her drawing room.

Charlotte Flair also mentioned her heel character portrayal after debuting on the main roster. In one of the occasions, she slapped her father to disown him and break all the associations. It was so much real that some of the fans did believe that she cut all the ties with Ric Flair. So the former champion loves this kind of mystery about her character. Starring on Total Divas would not allow her to do so.

“For me, my character has always come first and foremost and how far I want to take the women’s division. I’ve worked so hard on this character and I’m not sure lifting the curtain is the right move right now.
“Especially when I first started and was a bad guy, people believed I really fired my dad! I just don’t know how that would have helped with my storyline. I almost think there’s a mystique to not knowing everything about me.”
The seven-time women’s champion is getting another title shot at Evolution PPV. It means winning this match would take her title count to eight. She could very well be surpassing the legendary name of Trish Stratus in this process. Charlotte Flair did react to this exciting topic mentioning that Stratus belongs to an elite level,
“When I hear it, I still don’t put myself anywhere near Trish as a performer or superstar. There’s no way I can look at it that way because I don’t look at my status as anywhere near hers. I still feel like I have so much more to prove, so much more to learn, to overcome. I would be so mortified [if that were to be mentioned]. It’s a respect thing.”
