Women superstars are breaking barriers throughout the year 2018. They started by main-eventing the Royal Rumble PPV with a 30-women rumble match itself. This was the first of this genre that they followed up with the first-ever Elimination Chamber match featuring six female superstars. WWE arranged a lot of first-ever things for them including the Evolution PPV.

They achieved the unthinkable of delivering an-all women PPV event, this past October. The way they are emerging, it’s only a matter of time that they will end up having the Wrestlemania main event. This is the ultimate culmination of the elevation process for the women superstars. A veteran name opened up about the same.

Natalya recently appeared on The Wrap for an interview to note on the women’s evolution. She mentioned that the female roster is literally ‘on fire’, right now. There were never had been a time so good for the women’s locker room. So it’s almost certain that women will ‘headline Wrestlemania 35’ and secure the main event spotlight.

The former women’s champion pointed out to the accolades that they have achieved for the last couple of years. After accomplishing so much in other environments, it’s only fit for them to do something big at Wrestlemania 35. Arranging a main-event for them is going to be the most suitable thing from a creative and fan perspective, as well.

Also, Natalya noted on the fact that how much backstage duties rely on the women, nowadays. Stephanie McMahon is undoubtedly the leader in this process who has become a pioneer. Her visionary views always wanted to do something special for the women. Well, WWE continued to deliver things as she wanted. Here’re further comments from Natalya, (courtesy wrestleview.com)

“We have women behind the scenes that are in charge, like Stephanie McMahon and Michelle Wilson and so many different women taking on leadership roles in the company. We had our first-ever all-women pay-per-view.

I’ve been a part of so many first-ever, incredible female moments in the company, like the first-ever women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble, the first-ever Women’s Table Match…The logical next step? The main event (final match) of WrestleMania. That slot is considered the very pinnacle of her profession.”

Speculations are all over right now about women superstars’ featuring on Wrestlemania 35 main event. Roman Reigns going out of the scene has opened the door for them. Ronda Rousey’s presence is also one of the main factors in this process. It is most likely that the current Raw women’s champion will headline the show alongside Charlotte Flair.
