We could barely think of witnessing WWE without Roman Reigns at the beginning of 2018. Now the situation is such that we don’t even know whether he could make a healthy comeback for sure. As we all know, he is dealing with Leukemia and had to take time off for the same reason. Treatment is going on to cure the disease which is a long-term process. It’s almost certain that we won’t be seeing him for the entire 2019.

Revealed, next appearance of Roman Reigns

The announcement regarding Leukemia came as an utter shock to the WWE Universe. We did not know about the problems that Roman Reigns dealt in the past due to this. It came back after eleven years that was unexpected. Furthermore, WWE kept things under wrap until he announced it on TV on Monday Night Raw. This turned out to be one of the most emotional nights in the history of the flagship show.

Another man who was part of several historical moments on the show is John Cena. He is away from the scene for a long time for his movie spree. Currently, promotions for the BumbleBee movie is going on in a full swing. He talked about the Leukemia situation of Roman Reigns during one such interview.

John Cena did not have any previous hint of the Leukemia condition of the current franchise player of the WWE. So he got to know first about this on TV, as well. He texted Roman Reigns sending him best wishes for health. However, Joe Anoa’i is a tough man who comes from the Samoan bloodline who does not need any of those. But in any case, Roman Reigns need John Cena for any reason, he will be there.

Here are the quotes from the Cenation Leader from the interview with Chris Van Vliet,

“I texted him the day of the announcement just letting him know that he is in really good hands. He is part of a very exclusive fraternity. We all respect the fact that he is taking care of his health which is first and foremost. I told him if he needs anything he knows where to find me.”

“I know Joe. I know Joe’s a tough SOB. I don’t ever expect: ‘Hey man, I need this.’ I don’t ever expect to get that text, but if I do I think we have a mutual understanding that he knows it’s as good as done.”

He will be back appearing on several live events at the last week of December. You can check out the full schedule, here.
