WWE Universe has wanted to see a dream match for a long time. Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar is the concerned lineup that has never happened in the past. Both these men are bonafide athletes from the MMA industry. When you look at the physique of them, they should amaze you at a glimpse. They both used to fight in the MMA rings while not being in the WWE.

However, Brock Lesnar was under contract with the UFC whereas Bobby Lashley was in another promotion. Plus, he was under contract with the Impact Wrestling. So the dream fight never happened neither inside the Octagon nor a wrestling ring. The capacity of this one-of-a-kind fight only generated once the latter one signed a contract with the WWE earlier in 2018. This brought both these names under one wing.
Some were still doubtful considering that Brock Lesnar was about to leave the WWE. But he is under contract with the company perhaps until Wrestlemania. So there are some real chances to see Bobby Lashley in line for the Universal Championship, next. The fact that Roman Reigns is not present in the flagship show will also help the creative to set this match up. But what ‘the man’ of the hour think himself about this.
Recently, Bobby Lashley spoke about this match to SportBible. He sounded confident about facing Brock Lesnar at one point. The reason behind this is that the fans want to see this match between the two monsters. Here are the actual words from the man that ‘looks and smells like money’, (courtesy stillrealtous.com)
“Absolutely. I can post anything on social media and the people will reply we wanna see you and Brock, it’s something that has been building for the last 10 years so eventually it’s gonna happen because the fans want it to happen that bad.”
The reason that Bobby Lashley has turned into a heel character has helped him to garner some natural heats from the fans. Plus, he also got his hype-man by the side, all the time in the form of Lio Rush. The duo has become the most annoying figures on WWE Raw for quite sometimes. So, it’s safe to say they will become the top-most heel figures to find Brock Lesnar on their way. Here’s more from Lashley about the much-needed heel-turn,
“The turn should’ve come when I first came back. However, I couldn’t come out as a heel when I first started because the crowd waited for me to come back and wanted me back. Now is a perfect time though, I mean we have so many top babyfaces right now guys who are established so instead of forcing them into a different role, me being there is a little bit better.”

Bobby Lashley was perhaps going to challenge Brock Lesnar at this year’s Summerslam. He was on a roll by pinning Roman Reigns clean at WWE Extreme Rules. But WWE still booked the Big Dog against the beast incarnate scrapping this money match out. We hope to see this happen in 2019, perhaps at Wrestlemania.
