The McMahon family is reportedly bringing a new era in the WWE. They will be in charge of both WWE Raw and Smackdown. No other middle-man figured like General Managers will be available to run the shows. This tradition will continue at least for now that might lead up to all the way till Wrestlemania 35.
John Cena coming back on WWE Raw
Mr. McMahon furious on two WWE Raw superstars
The show-runners promised to bring some big changes to the WWE Raw roster since the program is lacking quality contents. A lot of fresh things should be in-store in due course as we will kick things off for the Wrestlemania season from next month onwards. Also, several big names should resurface onto the scene in the occasion of 32nd annual Royal Rumble in Phoenix, Arizona.
Plus, the reports are claiming a former NXT Champion is likely to get a big push to bring some significant changes on the WWE Raw roster. Fans should be happy to know that his name is none other than Finn Balor. This man definitely does not need any introduction to the pro-wrestling universe who barely achieved big things in the WWE.
According to the reports of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Finn Balor is the one who should get an elevation in the near future. The push has already been started from WWE TLC 2018. He was up against Drew McIntyre in a one-on-one contest. This one is a protected guy on WWE Raw roster but Finn Balor pinned him clean at the last PPV of 2018.
Furthermore, he followed up with another win on McIntyre’s former partner, Dolph Ziggler on the very next night. This set up another triple threat match featuring these three superstars on Monday Night Raw. The match will take place on tonight’s Christmas episode of the show. Spoilers suggested that Balor won this match, too.
This hints that Finn Balor has finally been able to go into the good books of the WWE creative and might do something significant in the upcoming weeks. Rumors say that Finn Balor will be the one to start a new feud against Dean Ambrose over the Intercontinental Championship once Seth Rollins gets over with his former Shield brethren.
Seth Rollins is likely to move to the main event spotlight in the Wrestlemania season. This would leave a void in the mid-card level. Finn Balor is a perfect name to fill this void up on the roster. He can win the Intercontinental Championship from heel Ambrose which would be his first mid-card title on WWE Raw.
