The Tampa Bay Times spoke with WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon and WWE Executive Vice President of Special Events John Saboor during the WrestleMania 36 Luncheon.

The event was held at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on where they were asked if the company is ready for the Corona Virus. The two head honchos gave positive answers to the question.
“The health and safety of not only our fan base but also our superstars, really does come first,” Stephanie McMahon said. “We don’t want to put anyone in a bad situation ever, regardless of the circumstance. Those are not risks worth taking.”
Saboor continued that the company is aware of the threat and they would be considering potential plans to encounter the threats,
“Given the number of live events that (WWE) does, it’s constantly monitoring global events,” Saboor said. “There are active and ongoing discussions at play internally like there are in any sector of American business, and certainly families as a whole. So I think those will continue.”
In addition, Rob Higgins, the Executive Director of the Tampa Bay Sports Commission, said he has a group working with the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority and the Tampa International Airport to ensure the safety of fans who will be flying down to have a lifetime experience at WrestleMania 36 Weekend.
Apart from the WrestleMania, an NXT TakeOver event will be there in Tampa alongside Multiple Axxess events leading up to the main show. The prestigious Hall of Fame ceremony will be on the schedule, three nights prior to the show. Also, Friday Night SmackDown and Monday Night Raw would be accompanying the event.
