The Fiend Bray Wyatt lost the Universal Championship to Goldberg at WWE Super ShowDown 2020 on this past Thursday night. The former WCW franchise player thus entered his second reign with the concerned title that was followed by a storm of displeased fans. The hardcore wrestling fans were displeased with WWE’s decision to end the undefeated streak of the former champion.

Especially, Goldberg ending the streak is not a cool thing to many of the fans as he ended up receiving manor boos from the crowd the next night on SmackDown. Hollywood actor Macaulay Culkin said that he was canceling his WrestleMania weekend visit to Tampa because of Super ShowDown’s results. He’s is not interested to witness either Goldberg vs Roman Reigns or The Fiend Bray Wyatt taking on John Cena.

Despite what the fans think, Vince McMahon did make the title switch at the expense of The Fiend Bray Wyatt’s title reign and he also has a perfect plan to make up for it.
Brad Shepard reported that Vince McMahon believes that facing John Cena at WrestleMania is “just as good as a title match.” But on a contradictory note, there are also some of the officials present in the company who feel that The Fiend’s momentums as a character might be running out.
“A source in #WWE told me that Bray Wyatt is (still) facing John Cena at #WrestleMania. The idea is that in Vince’s eyes, it’s just as good as a championship match.
Interestingly enough, my source in WWE on this report told me that they personally feel The Fiend is “shot,” and has “lost all momentum.”
It’s sad to hear the same as The Fiend Bray Wyatt was touted to be the biggest innovation of recent times who could be running things in the WWE for years to follow.

But the process could come to a halt if bad bookings follow. The good thing is that The Fiend Bray Wyatt has been paired in a big WrestleMania match against none other than John Cena.
This could provide a fun build-up unless Cena’s irregular appearances on television tapings on the road to WrestleMania turn out to be a bar. In addition, WWE would also have to put over Roman Reigns as a huge babyface by putting over Goldberg.
