Speculations of WWE RAW possibly moving from the originally scheduled venue were already there following SmackDown’s rescheduling. Now, WWE has officially confirmed that Monday’s event will indeed air from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It was first reported by PWInsider.com, that the company was planning accordingly to move the flagship program from the host venue to its own home facility. It was just confirmed with a tweet from the official account. Like SmackDown on FOX, they will be doing WWE Raw without any crowd and only “essential personnel” will be in attendance for the show,

“Monday Night Raw Proceeds With No Live Audience,” the announcement reads. “This Monday night, Raw will air live as regularly scheduled and emanate from WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida with only essential personnel in attendance. The event was originally scheduled in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.”

The main reason behind this shifting of WWE RAW is obviously the Coronavirus outbreak that has been affecting the sports world without any distinction. Even WrestleMania 36 status looks to be in jeopardy after Florida Governor put a ban on gatherings and events for the next 30 days. There will be further meetings and discussions to decide the fate of the biggest event of the year.

But before that, several episodes of WWE RAW and SmackDown have to be delivered. The very next episode was about to be a loaded one. WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin’s special appearance was promoted for the “3:16 Day” happenings. It would also have a WrestleMania 36 contract signing between AJ Styles and The Undertaker scheduled. Plus an appearance by WWE Hall of Famer Edge is also expected.

As the Coronavirus pandemic continues across the United States, the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida is believed to be the new home of WWE RAW, SmackDown and NXT, temporarily. But WWE has not finalized the same. But NXT will continue to air from this facility through April due to a new Coronavirus pandemic ruling from their home of Full Sail University.
