Plans For Seth Rollins And Authors Of Pain On WWE Raw
Seth Rollins opened this week’s WWE RAW to note on his heel-turn. Being a leader did not help him as it was the fans who turned on him. Moving forward, he claimed 2020 to be his year. If the fans resist, AOP will be there to act as his enforcers.
WWE Considering Two Big Opponents For Becky Lynch At Wrestlemania 36
WWE RAW Tag Team Champions The Viking Raiders – Erik and Ivar vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson was the opening contest of the show. Erik hit a Spinebuster on Anderson setting him up for a big Moonsault from Ivar. Gallows saved his buddy from the maneuver and neutralized Erik. They planted Ivar with a Magic Killer to get the win.
Erick Rowan defeated a local talent named Dante Leon on WWE Raw hitting two Iron Claw slams.
Lana appeared on WWE Raw to introduce the audience with her ‘hot’ boyfriend Bobby Lashley. She took out a ring and asked Lashley to propose her. The Dominator went down to his knees and gave her the marriage proposal. Lana said yes as the duo started kissing in the middle of the ring.
WWE Hall Of Famers To Return To Action After 2019 TLC Segment
A Gauntlet Match took place on WWE Raw to determine the new number-one contender for the WWE United States Champion Rey Mysterio. R-Truth vs. Matt Hardy vs. Andrade vs. Humberto Carrillo vs. Akira Tozawa vs. Ricochet was the lineup. The elimination results are as follows,
Tozawa picked up the pinfall win over Truth via a roll-up.
Ricochet hit a Recoil on Tozawa to eliminate him.
Ricochet countered a Twist of Fate and rolled up Matt Hardy for a confusing pinfall.
Humberto Carrillo connected with the top rope Moonsault to eliminate Ricochet.
Andrade hit a double underhook DDT on the concrete floor to hurt Humberto Carrillo as the match was declared a no contest.
Rey Mysterio came out to check Carrillo as he was down. Seth Rollins entered the scene carrying the steel pipe that Rey gave to Kevin Owens last week. AOP accompanied him to deliver a beatdown on Rey. Seth ended the segment on WWE Raw hitting Rey with a Stomp.
One half of WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors – Asuka competed against Deonna Purrazzo. Deonna sent Asuka face-first to the mat. But Asuka countered with a series of kicks and applied the Asuka Lock forcing her opponent to tap out.
After the match, WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch cut a promo wanting Asuka as her opponent for the title, next.
The main event of this week’s WWE RAW featured Randy Orton competing against AJ Styles who took control by targeting his opponent’s knees. Orton came back sending AJ face-first into the top turnbuckle. Orton hit the ring-draped DDT and went for the RKO. AJ blocked and went for a Springboard but Orton converted it into an RKO for the win.
Gallows and Anderson showed up to beat down Orton but Viking Raiders tried to make the save. But the OCs stood tall hitting Erik with a Magic Killer to end the show.
