WWE Raw came live last night from the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Seth Rollins issued an Intercontinental Championship open challenge to any member of the roster. The tag team championships were on the line, as well. Two solid main event matches were also there on the show. Bobby Lashley took on against Elias whereas Finn Balor went up against Baron Corbin. Here are the full results from the show.
Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre, and Bobby Lashley opened this week’s edition of WWE Raw. The acting GM went straight to address his attack on Barun Strowman. He ensured we will not see the monster for a long time. Cut to a videotape from the hospital where Strowman vowed to get these hands on them in future. Elias showed up on the ramp strumming his guitar to interrupt the session.
He was up next against Bobby Lashley in the pre-announced match. The two went back and forth for sometimes as Baron Corbin sanctioned this match as a No Disqualifications affair. The contest became a three-on-one attack on Elias. Drew McIntyre hit an inverted Alabama Slam on him followed by a Claymore Kick that allowed Lashley to pick up an easy win.
Dean Ambrose was present at the doctor’s room who denied to go out to the ring feeling sick. The doctor gave some injections to take care of him. Inside the ring, the Lucha House Party had a rematch on WWE Raw against The Revival. Kalisto hit a Salida Del Sol, followed by a senton from Metallic and a shooting star press from Dorado for the win.
Nia Jax appeared on WWE Raw to talk about how she broke the face of Becky Lynch. She also vowed to dethrone Ronda Rousey at TLC who’s become weak for sometimes. Ronda Rousey made her way to the ring to backfire with a mic in hand. But Tamina and Nia looked to double team on her. Natalya ran out to save Ronda from a beatdown. Ronda fought off the heels to end the segment.
AOP defended the WWE Raw tag team champions against Bobby Roode and Chad Gable. Roode’s robes were a key part of this match. Drake Maverick snatched it from Roode to provide the distraction. At one point, he took it and went to the bathroom to urinate on it. This distracted Gable again as AOP hit the powerbomb/neckbreaker combo for the win.
Ember Moon received Curt Hawkins as his Mixed Match Challenge partner. He was present during Moon’s match on WWE Raw against Alicia Fox. A snap DDT followed by the Eclipse handed her the win. After the match, No Way Jose entered to compete against Jinder Mahal. Jinder snapped Jose off the top rope and hit the Khallas for the victory.
Seth Rollins issued the Intercontinental Championship open challenge on WWE Raw. Dolph Ziggler came out proving that he is not dealing with an injury. He claimed to be the best in the world. Ziggler hit the Fammesser countering a frog splash. He even executed the zig-zag successfully for a near fall. Rollins came back with the superplex/falcon arrow combo for the victory.
Alexa Bliss is now in charge of the WWE Raw women’s division. She hosted an open forum with Sasha Banks and Bayley. Bliss continued to insult these two with trash talks. Sasha wanted to send her back to Smackdown roster. Mickie James, Alicia Fox and Dana Brooke ran out to create a brawl inside the ring. But Sasha and Bayley stood tall together swatting the heels away.
Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin was the main event of WWE Raw. Balor was moments away from hitting the Coup De Grace when Corbin announced Drew McIntyre will be his tag partner in this handicap match. McIntyre hit the Claymore Kick on Balor to pick the win with ease. Lashley hit the ring to start a three on one attack on Balor. They stood tall together after the beatdown to end this week’s show.
