WWE Raw Preview (20/05/19)-Money In The Bank Fallouts-New Championship
The course of the WWE Raw changed big-time after last night’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view event. The Universal Champion was able to successfully retain his title in an awesome match against AJ Styles. Now he will be looking forward to his next challenge on the line. Who knows if that happens to be in the form of a beast incarnate? The former Universal Champion returned on the PPV to claim himself to be Mr. Money in the Bank.
Now he will be setting his sights again to become the new Universal Champion. Could he intend to cash it in on the next PPV show set for Saudi Arabia? We will find out when WWE Raw airs tonight. Speaking of the upcoming event, multiple storylines will kick-off for the show which occurs within three weeks from now. Plus, a legend will return to the show to unveil a new championship. All of these and more will be waiting for us as WWE Raw emanates from the Times Union Center in Albany, New York.
With Money in the Bank being over, WWE Raw will be focusing on one of the star-studded nights of the year. Within three weeks from now, WWE is returning to Saudi Arabia for a PPV show named WWE Super ShowDown. Set for June 7th, the storylines for the event will kick-off from tonight, most notably the Universal Championship. Seth Rollins is still holding on the red-strapped belt as await who his next challenger could be.
The previous rumors stated that Brock Lesnar is returning on WWE Raw to claim his Wrestlemania rematch against Seth Rollins. But he instead came back one night earlier to win the Money in the Bank briefcase. So will he cash it the contract in Saudi Arabia causing the match or else WWE would book him in a different match? We have to wait to know more on this picture until and unless the show airs.
In the women’s championship picture, Becky Lynch is still the title-holder from WWE Raw but lost the blue belt. Hence, she will officially be a member for the flagship show, for now instead of jumping on both of them. As for the rivalries, Lacey Evans does not seem to be over with her attacks towards the former dual champion. She was the one who cost the Smackdown belt to Becky. So we hope WWE would go for a rematch between these two.
The headliner of WWE Super ShowDown will feature The Undertaker vs. Goldberg. This is the first-time encounter between these two legends which is occurring in Saudi Arabia. The buildup for this contest should start as well from tonight’s WWE Raw onwards. We expect at least any one of them to make his presence felt on the show, live or via satellite to make an emphatic statement.

WWE also made a huge announcement at Money in the Bank event, when they confirmed the return of a legend. Mick Foley is coming back to WWE Raw with a special purpose. He will be unveiling a new championship in the WWE. With him being around, we only can think of one title in the mind i.e. the Hardcore Championship. But will WWE dare to re-introduce it in the PG Era when there’s less violence on TV? We’ll find out when Mick returns to the show he used to run during 2016-17.
