WWE delivered a historic Evolution PPV from the New York City, last night. The show proved worth despite lack of buildups as the women superstars continue to make history. Ronda Rousey is still the champion and received her next challenger in the form of Nia Jax. So a new storyline angle will begin on WWE Raw over the women’s championship.
It also marks the final night of WWE Raw before the Crown Jewel PPV that happens on this Friday night. So the final hypes for the show will definitely be there for the Saudi Arabia show. Braun Strowman will gear up to pick up his first Universal Championship. Also, we expect The Undertaker and Kane to return on the show to face DX. Plus, what will be next for Dean Ambrose after heel-turn? All of these should be in-store when WWE Raw airs from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
How did WWE Raw roster change after last week?
Dean Ambrose beating down Seth Rollins on last week’s WWE Raw was perhaps the best heel-turn in a long time. Going forward, he is going to portray the top heel on the roster. His first rival is undoubtedly going to be Seth Rollins who will demand an answer from his Shield brethren. Dean Ambrose continued his assault on Seth Rollins over the live events as well to heat up the feud. We will see how things unfold when they face off against each other on the show.

The Undertaker and Kane will continue to hype their tag team bout at Crown Jewel by making one final appearance. They are set to take on DX on this Friday night. These two factions have not come together under one roof since the Super Show Down event in Australia. Perhaps, a big brawl is waiting as reports are out confirming Undertaker and Kane’s appearances on the go-home show for Crown Jewel. WWE.com also hinted the same,
“The deeply personal rivalry between D-Generation X and The Brothers of Destruction comes to a head at WWE Crown Jewel, where the two legendary tandems will collide in tag team action for the first time ever. With animosity between DX and the eerie Undertaker & Kane escalating in recent weeks, will we see these teams throw down before this Friday’s event?”
Braun Strowman has an opportunity to gain the Universal Championship at Crown Jewel. But he can focus less on the title match against Brock Lesnar due to Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Psychopath has found his next target in the form of the Monster among Men. It will be interesting to see whether McIntyre continues to attack Braun Strowman from behind to jeopardize his title opportunity.
Ronda Rousey is still the WWE Raw women’s champion. Nia Jax has become the next contender for the title by winning Evolution battle royal. But Brie and Nikki Bella mentioned that their rivalry is still not over with Ronda Rousey. It is yet to see whether the Bella twins continue to feature in WWE storylines from now onwards. Otherwise, it will be a one-on-one match set up between Nia Jax and Rousey.
Elias has turned into a babyface following his guitar smash on Baron Corbin. This would help to build up a storyline against the acting GM of WWE Raw. There’s no doubt that the crowd will love this new form of Elias on the show. Also, John Cena is reportedly out of Crown Jewel PPV due to the unwillingness to work in Saudi Arabia. So expect Bobby Lashley to replace him in the World Cup Tournament.
