32nd edition of Royal Rumble is almost upon us perhaps in the biggest way possible. For the first time ever the most unpredictable night will take place in a baseball stadium. Over 40000 of the fans will be part of witnessing history where we will crown two Royal Rumble winners from the men and women’s division.

Why John Cena is missing Royal Rumble?

That is not all that we have as all the prime titles will be on the line. Multiple fresh matches are waiting in the match card of Royal Rumble as Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, Asuka defends their titles. The WWE Championship is also on the line with AJ Styles-Daniel Bryan rivalry continuing. Plus, Shane McMahon will be back in action in a tag team title match.

All of these will go down at Royal Rumble 2019 that is coming live at 5.30 AM onwards on Sony Ten 1 Network. The Chase Field Arena in Phoenix, Arizona is the host venue of the first PPV event of this year. Here’s the match card alongside the predictions.

The Bar (c) vs. The Miz and Shane McMahon

The Bar has been the most dominant tag team in the WWE for the entire 2018. They have defeated all the teams available on Smackdown and hence it’s hard to find suitable opponents against them. This is the only reason Shane McMahon and The Miz received the chances just to set up a fresh matchup. But they are not a tested tag team and do not stand a chance against the five-time tag champs in the WWE.

Brock Lesnar (with Paul Heyman) (c) vs. Finn Balor

This lineup is a big reason why WWE Universe is happy about Royal Rumble. After a long time, their favorite superstar Finn Balor is getting a title opportunity in a PPV event. He will put up a hell of a fight against Brock Lesnar showing tremendous resiliency. But this should not earn him the title with Wrestlemania just around the corner. The Beast is definitely heading into ‘Mania main event with the title around his waist. So there’s no way he is dropping the title against Balor.

Daniel Bryan (c) vs. AJ Styles

We have already seen this dream bout on multiple occasions throughout the year 2018. So unless something surprising occurs, this match might not garner the spotlight. There are rumors going on that Vince McMahon might be willing to insert AJ into a bigger Wrestlemania storyline once Rumble is over. So we expect interference from Randy Orton or Batista in this match allowing Bryan to retain at Royal Rumble. AJ will move onto his next feud against whoever shows up.

Asuka (c) vs. Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch is all over the place on Smackdown even after losing the championship at WWE TLC. It does not matter whether she’s the champ or not, she’d justify to the fact of remaining the hottest superstar of this current time. So her title win seems evident against Asuka at Royal Rumble. But there could be a swerve in-store around her. By any means, Asuka might just escape with the title just to allow Becky Lynch to enter Women’s Royal Rumble match, later the night.

Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Sasha Banks

We never thought of seeing this match this early in the WWE. Sasha Banks is one of the veteran female superstars in the WWE who is likely to deliver her best match against the champion. Two technical wrestlers should steal the show, right away. But with Wrestlemania 35 just around the corner, WWE is not likely to take the title away from Ronda Rousey. Hence the baddest woman on the planet will continue her title reign even after Royal Rumble.

Royal Rumble always deals with some surprise elements and this year should not be an exception. Multiple NXT stars may show up like Velveteen Dream, EC3 or Lars Sullivan to make their main roster debut. As for as some of the returns, we may see Matt Hardy, Bray Wyatt, Kurt Angle, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and more. When the dust gets cleared, Seth Rollins is the undoubted favorite to stand tall inside the ring. With Lesnar being the champion, we can’t think of a better name as the challenger at Wrestlemania 35.

We have earlier mentioned how WWE will make way for Becky Lynch to enter the Royal Rumble match. There must be a big reason behind this and that’s to let her win the whole thing. She is the ultimate favorite to be the only one to stand tall inside the ring when the match ends. Charlotte Flair also stands a chance to win just to set up a match against Ronda Rousey at Wrestlemania 35. There could be surprise winners in case WWE thinks the scenario becomes too much predictable. In that case, a returning Nikki Bella or Alexa Bliss will be a great choice.
