WWE Rumor: Dolph Ziggler Might Have Decided To Leave The WWE
This week’s episode of WWE Raw featured a solid opening contest between Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler. Despite the immense support that the latter name received, he ended up losing the match. That was not the end of the night for him. A vicious assault was waiting, courtesy of the Scottish Psychopath, afterward. This might have been a way to write off the former world champion from WWE TV, permanently!
WWE.com captured him through a backstage interview once WWE Raw was over. He did not sound confident about his future on the roster hinting that he is probably leaving the WWE. Then he changed his Twitter media handle’s name to Nic Nemeth (his original name) from Dolph Ziggler.
In a post, he announced that 2019 Comedy Tour starts from January 27th onwards. He will be accompanying the show crew choosing to dodge Royal Rumble that falls on the same date. This might have come as a confirmation that the veteran superstar decided to cut the ties with the WWE. However, we have to receive any confirmation on the situation that has occurred a number of times in the last few years.
Dolph Ziggler is one of the most veteran names present in the WWE locker room. He has spent more than a decade in the company. So it’s quite obvious that he shares a warm relationship with most of the backstage superstars in the company and is also a backstage leader when a situation needs.

Now some of the fans might not agree with the fact. His resume does not sound as strong as it should be after spending such a long time in the company. There are multiple names in the WWE who are much younger than him yet a lot successful when it comes to championships or main events.
Overall, Dolph Ziggler is a two-time world heavyweight champion and a six-time Intercontinental Champion which is quite a big accolade. But WWE has literally wasted him for the past few years. He had been in the role of a jobber who was busy putting over new talents. They barely gave him impactful storylines that could be a big reason behind leaving the WWE.
But Dolph Ziggler is no stranger to these either. This man has also been a main-eventer at one point in his career. He won the Money in the Bank briefcase in 2013 and cashed it in big-time the night after Wrestlemania. We will always remember this moment as one of the most infamous occasions on WWE Raw.
