We previously gave updates about how Daniel Bryan has become the biggest heel in the WWE today. His heelish antics have reached a new level that it even impressed Vince McMahon in a big way. So there’s no way that he is dropping the WWE Championship anytime soon. Rather he would continue to add more layers to the character and also keep the legacy ongoing with this prestigious title.

Speaking Daniel Bryan took us to the WWE TLC PPV where he defeated AJ Styles to retain. This was a predicted outcome with all the momentums being in his favor. But we should also mention the fired-up promo on the kick-off show earlier that night. He blasted WWE interviewers Cathy Kelly and Mike Rome telling how he is refusing to wear his own merchandises.

The New Daniel Bryan also gloated about possessing a new attitude which nothing Rome and Kelly would understand. His next focus would be the WWE Championship which does not go well with his character. He was not happy about the leather on the strap and promised to do bring a change to it. This left the WWE Universe buzzing about whether we will witness a big change on tonight’s Smackdown.

“I am going to take this leather belt that was made from a skinned cow, that I like to name Daisy, and I’m going to replace it with something sustainable, something better and the new Daniel Bryan is gonna create a new world that these people don’t have a part of.”

With that being said, rumors are running rampant whether Daniel Bryan will unveil a new WWE Championship belt on Smackdown. He is sure to boast about his victory at WWE TLC and this could be a perfect time that we see the change coming up.

WWE inaugurated this version of the WWE Championship back in 2014. The Authority revealed this new belt after Brock Lesnar defeated John Cena at Summerslam, that year. He unified the WWE and World Heavyweight Championship belt the night after the PPV event. We will see whether this title has its last night on Smackdown in Fresno, California.
