WWE Rumor: WWE To Take Down Renee Young From Commentary Booth
Rumors have already fuelled up regarding the status of Renee Young on WWE Raw. The main reason behind this is her husband Dean Ambrose is leaving WWE when his contract is getting over. We are listening to this on TV as mentioned by the commentators which are a rare thing in the company. So is there any chance that this pretty face might also accompany Dean?
There’s no confirmed update on this situation, as of now. Previous reports suggested that Renee Young has most chances to stay under the WWE banner even if her husband leaves. She has become an integral part of the programming for the last few years whom most of the fans love to see.
Plus, Renee Young has created history by becoming the only woman to join WWE Raw commentary booth. She is a permanent member of the announce table to call down the actions with Michael Cole and Corey Graves. This was no less than of evolution for a woman who was coming from a complete non-wrestling background.
So WWE made her position quite secure with fat paychecks as well as a cemented status in the company. That was until Rajah.com came up with a rumor roundup. It stated that the creative team members might be thinking to keep her aside from the commentary team. This is just speculation at this point which has no confirmations to it.
The report revealed that there’re some backstage plans going on to move Renee Young from the commentary booth of WWE Raw. The source has not revealed the reasons behind the same. So at this point, we can’t really say whether this has anything to do with Dean Ambrose leaving the company. Here’s more from sportskeeda.com,
“There have been mixed reviews about her performance behind the desk as is natural and one wonders if the company has taken heed of this. It is extremely unlikely that even if she loses her spot behind the desk, there will not be a spot for her in the company going forward. Young has excelled both as a backstage interview and in hosting Kickoff show panels.”
At present, there are also speculations going on about WWE addressing the demands made by Fox Network. They might have wanted to trim down no. of commentators on the announce desk. So Renee Young might have to leave the booth since it’s a demand for the future broadcasting network. She is currently present on the desk since the experiment has not begun yet.
