WWE Smackdown Preview (04/09/18) – Hell In A Cell Rivalries, Tag Team Tourney Continues

Smackdown Live is coming up with solid booking since after Summerslam. We are just two weeks away from the Hell in a Cell PPV around which the current feuds are going on. This might be the best feud that AJ Style had during his lengthy championship reign. Tonight, we expect it to get more intense with Samoa Joe.

We can say the same about Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch. Things have already got out of hands between them as we look forward to the future for them. Plus, the tag team tournament will continue on Smackdown. The second round matchup is now officials courtesy of the general manager Paige for tonight’s show. This interesting episode of Smackdown is coming live from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.

Samoa Joe has made the rivalry against AJ Styles personal than ever. He is continuously dragging the champion’s wife and daughter into the context. These mind games have got into his mind shifting focus from retaining the title. Meanwhile, things might get interesting this week as Samoa Joe promises to visit AJ Styles’ house. WWE.com also hinted the same,

“The Samoan Submission Machine has continued to push the Phenomenal One’s buttons to try and throw the champion off his game. Joe crossed the line once again last week, calling the WWE Champion’s wife while AJ watched in the ring, saying he was going to pay a visit to the Styles home this week. Will Joe make good on his words?”

We will see the next chapter of rivalry between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch on Smackdown. The recently turned heel has beaten up the champion to close last week’s show. It’s evident that a match is coming up between these two superstars at Hell in a Cell PPV. The question remains whether this match will take place inside the Hell in a Cell structure or not.

Daniel Bryan has lost to the mind-games of The Miz and Maryse on last week’s Smackdown. He had to see his wife getting beat down in front of his eyes. Pure retributions will be in his mind once he enters the building tonight. It’d be interesting to see what tactics the IT couple endorses to get rid of the potential attack from the Bryan and Brie Bella.

The tag team tournament will continue on Smackdown Live. This is the second round of the series where another triple threat match is in-store. Rusev-Aiden English vs. The Usos vs. SAnitY is the lineup for this week. Going by the popularity of Rusev Day, this babyface team should pick up the wine. This would set up the finale between Rusev-Aiden English against The Bar for the contender’s spot.
