Crown Jewel is in the history books of WWE as we look forward to Survivor Series PPV. WWE Raw has started the buildup on this special show which should have follow-ups on this week’s Smackdown Live. Shane McMahon winning the world cup tournament planted the seeds of Survivor Series feud between the two brands. That will continue as WWE continues to broadcast programming from the United Kingdom.

AJ Styles retained his WWE Championship in a dominant fashion. Now he will look forward to competing in a rematch against Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. Becky Lynch will prepare to fight against Ronda Rousey on the same show. We expect to see all of these and more when Smackdown comes live from the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.
Team captain determining on Smackdown Live will be the first task for the show-runners. WWE.com has announced that Paige and Shane McMahon will select the team members from the blue brand for Survivor Series. We expect someone like Daniel Bryan will lead Team Blue at the upcoming PPV. Shane McMahon could also lead the team without competing in the match.
Shane McMahon brought the World Cup tournament on Smackdown in an unfair mean. Reports from Wrestling Observer claimed that it might lead to a heel turn for the commissioner. WWE disclosed that Shane McMahon will address the happening from Crown Jewel on tonight. We will see if there are such transitions waiting for him on the show. But this controversial win will help to set up Survivor Series angles, without a doubt.
Furthermore, Paige wanted Charlotte Flair to make the Team Captain of Survivor Series. But The Queen might have not got over from the devastating loss at the hands of Becky Lynch in Evolution. So she did not find herself as the perfect leader for the women’s team. Paige did advise her to reconsider the decision. Tonight, we hear whether Charlotte agrees to take charge of Smackdown women’s team.
The respective champions of Smackdown Live will address their opponents for Survivor Series. Ronda Rousey claimed herself to be ‘the baddest b*** on the planet’ on WWE Raw. So it is time for Becky Lynch to come up with some strong words to hit her back. Also, AJ Styles will address the crowd before facing off Brock Lesnar at the upcoming PPV event. We expect some strong comments from the Phenomenal One, (courtesy WWE.com)
“When Brock Lesnar captured the vacant Universal Championship last week, a huge Raw vs. SmackDown rematch was set for Survivor Series – a battle with WWE Champion AJ Styles. The Phenomenal One pushed The Beast to his limit last November before falling to Lesnar. How will the WWE Champion alter his game plan for this highly anticipated rematch? Find out tonight on SmackDown LIVE at 8/7 C on USA Network!”
