Bayley (c) vs. Sasha Banks – SmackDown Women’s Championship Match
WWE has been planning a rivalry between Sasha Banks and Bayley on the main roster for a long time. In fact, this is the reason they kept these two on the SmackDown brand during the Draft. For some reason, they haven’t pulled the trigger on the program, yet.
They’ve already teased the match between the two best friends, but it’s unknown if they want to have a match yet.
With SummerSlam approaching, we can only assume that Bayley vs. Sasha Banks match could finally become a reality. Both of them have been carrying the Women’s Tag Team Championship, and losing the belts in the upcoming weeks would automatically plant the seeds for a match at the biggest party of the summer.
Bayley will still be carrying the SmackDown Women’s Championship and hence the two can feud over this singles division belt. Bayley’s reign has been long enough and Banks seems to be the rightmost person to end it.
