Asuka (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Nia Jax – RAW Women’s Championship

Asuka won the Women’s Money In The Bank 2020 ladder match, that in turn handed her the RAW Women’s Championship as the previous champion Becky Lynch had to go into a pregnancy hiatus.

Since then, Asuka has been involved in a feud with Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair in singles contests while defending the RAW Women’s Championship.

Asuka did force Charlotte to tap out, but that happened due to an arm injury. Her win over Nia was also not convincing as the referee did a fast count and the champion also had a roll-up victory that isn’t considered, authoritative.

Asuka will be facing Sasha Banks at Extreme Rules, where the challenger is being considered to be a stop-gap champion. Following that, it seems both the previous challengers will charge down Asuka, again. Charlotte will return from her kayfabe injury whereas Nia will try to settle unfinished business with The Empress of Tomorrow.

So it’s almost certain that we’ll get a Triple Threat Match for the RAW Women’s Championship at SummerSlam.
