As confirmed earlier, WrestleMania 36 will now be airing from the WWE Performance Center on April 4th & 5th, 2020. This is the rarest occasion that the entire show will be happening with only the required personnel in attendance whereas fans will be barred from the show. So, there’s basically no point in hosting WrestleMania without the WWE Universe not being present.
Revealed: Reason Why WWE Is Hosting Wrestlemania 36 Amid Coronavirus Outbreak
The Dirty Sheets has reported that this show is only going to be “WrestleMania” by name. It will be by no means can reach even a taped show or live events in magnitude. WWE Not Interested To Sign CM Punk Or Alberto Del Rio, At All
WWE is currently going ahead with WrestleMania to blow off the current feuds. There were reports of having the show of shows scheduled at a later date which may not be the case. The ongoing storylines on TV have to culminate within a certain time span. It’s impossible to drag these angles for weeks to follow. This is why the show has to go down on April 5th.
Roman Reigns & Drew McIntyre In Verbal War Over Wrestlemania Main Event?
Word is going on is that some of the expected WrestleMania 36 match outcomes might not take place anymore due to a lack of reactions from the fans. WWE is expected to hold off on those bigger outcomes until they can present events in front of live fans, again. The WWE Championship match could very well end up seeing an altered outcome if the source is any indication.
As per earlier reports, Drew McIntyre was scheduled to have a big win over Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship and move forward to have a solid championship run on Monday Night RAW. This news should have made the fans much happier. But they won’t be present on the shows.
There’s no update either on when WWE could start hosting live shows. So Lesnar could retain the title at WrestleMania.
Meanwhile, the latest news on WrestleMania suggests that WWE announced the Performance Center as the new venue of WrestleMania 36, with ‘intent to satisfy that requirement.’ OracleFight Twitter handle reported the city of Orlando may shut down the PC event, altogether.
WWE would then likely get paid by their insurer at that point as they tried to host the show from a venue, at least. We have to wait and see what happens with the biggest event of the year which seems very much uncertain, at this point.
