ToggleHeading into the Draft 2023 edition, a list of WWE NXT Superstars was pointed out as they were reportedly on the verge of joining the main roster. Bron Breakker was on that list despite being on a roll since his debut in NXT 2.0 back in September 2021. The primary thinking was that he had nothing much left to achieve on Wednesday nights after dropping the NXT Title to Carmelo Hayes at NXT Stand & Deliver.
However, Breakker was not part of the WWE Draft and it appears there was a good reason to keep him under the WWE NXT banner, for the time being. He debuted a new character soon after dropping the title to Hayes and WWE Creative wanted to give him some time to establish this new character.

Bron Breakker leaving WWE NXT for main roster after Summerslam?
According to a report by WKRD Wrestling on Twitter, there were plans for Bron Breakker to be called up to the main roster from WWE NXT. However, since he debuted a heel gimmick, the company had decided to let him build this character in his familiar territory. As for the plan on calling him up on the main roster, it appears the post-SummerSlam 2023 category seems a reasonable timespan,
“Regarding Bron Breakker going undrafted; we’ve heard there were tentative plans to draft Bron to the main roster, but officials are so impressed w/ his heel persona, he remained in NXT to better cultivate his character. There are tentative plans to call him up after SummerSlam.”

Bron Breakker is a top name of NXT roster
Before his eventual promotion to the main roster, Bron Breakker has already become a 2-time WWE NXT Champion to cement his legacy in the third brand of WWE. He has been a dominant top babyface talent who is also carrying his family legacy. During that title reigns, he has defeated many top stars in the developmental brand and even main roster talents like Dolph Ziggler, Apollo Crews, and Jinder Mahal.
That being said, it’s safe to say that he will continue to be a dominant figure when the eventual call-up comes from the main roster and he leaves WWE NXT. After all, Triple H is in charge of creative things, these days and not Vince McMahon.
