WWE TLC is the final PPV of the year 2018 that is happening on December 16th. The specialty of this PPV event is to see matches under Tables, Ladders and Chairs rules. This is why the gimmick based event is so much popular among the fans. Also, WWE would like to end the year with a bang so that enough ingredients are available to kick-start 2019 in styles.
Can Braun Strowman compete at WWE TLC?
With that being said, we can speculate three surprises that could happen at WWE TLC. Braun Strowman is set to face Baron Corbin in a TLC match that will give the heel all the upper-hand. He can do whatever he wants under No-Disqualification rules. Plus, the alliance with Lashley and McIntyre will also help him leaving fewer chances for the behemoth to win the match.
We predict a squash win in favor of Braun Strowman instead. The monster is just out of a surgery whom the officials will let wrestle to a minimum extent. Hence, the monster is likely to destroy Corbin throughout the match before picking up the win with a big ‘spot’. This win at WWE TLC will book him into a title match against Brock Lesnar.
The first-ever WWE TLC match featuring the women superstars awaits for us in the upcoming PPV. Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Asuka are the three performers in this match with the latter one having the least chance of winning. So imagine the pop that Asuka will receive is she can pull off the win somehow. She needs this title by her side to solidify her legacy on the main roster.
She can take advantage of the fact that Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch will be hell-bent on beating down each other. Or else, Ronda Rousey can interfere just to cause both these ladies, in the match. This would confirm the future matches featuring the trio whereas Asuka will walk out of WWE TLC with the title. Defending it against a heel Becky Lynch can prove her relevance on the roster.
Nia Jax is the biggest heel on the women’s roster in the WWE. Fans just hate her after she broke Becky Lynch’s face. WWE is using this heat to establish her as one of the natural villain characters on Monday Night Raw. Letting Nia Jax lose to Ronda Rousey will not serve purposefully to the ongoing push. But winning the title could turn out to be otherwise. Boos will take her out of the SAP Center, straight away that is evident for a heel.
This loss at WWE TLC will not harm the character of Ronda Rousey. She is set to face either Becky Lynch or Charlotte Flair in the near future. Not having the title will rather allow her to set up these matches without any explicit title defense.
So we should not get surprised if Nia Jax pulls off this shocker during this match. Charlotte Flair can walk into the match costing Ronda Rousey, the title. This would continue the Survivor Series fallout that might culminate a second match at Royal Rumble or even at Wrestlemania 35.
