The less of a WWE superstar and more of a Hollywood A-lister was born on this day in 1980.
He already had accomplished a lot in WWE. As per the stats The Miz is 4 times WWE tag team champion, 2 times world tag team champion, 2 times United States champion, 4 times intercontinental champion, One money in the bank winner and One-time WWE Champion that is “the most must see” WWE Champion in the history.
Though the starting was not very smooth for him. He was billed from Cleveland, Ohio weighing only 220 pound which is a medium one as in the case of wrestling industry. He was booed too because of his short height and medium physique. But despite all those, Miz was one of the finalists in the reality TV show Tough Enough in 2004. He made his debut in WWE in 2006 in the SmackDown brand. Since then championship gold around his waist was a frequent sight. He became to the top in 2010 when he cashed in the Money in the bank and became “The Most Must See WWE Champion” in the history and made it to the main event next year’s Wrestlemania 27 where he successfully defended his WWE championship against John Cena.
After that, he became Intercontinental and US champion for quite a handful of times. Though he lost the spot of the main eventer gradually. From 2014, he adopted a Hollywood Star persona than a WWE superstar. He starred in a couple of successful movies like The Marine 3 and 4, Christmas Bounty etc with Santa’s Little Helper which awaiting a release. Hopefully, he will make big in the Hollywood too.
As WWE fans, we would love to see more of Miz in the ring than he is present as of now. Nowadays he is seen most of the time as the host of the talk show “THE MIZ TV”. We don’t have any clue why WWE is not planning something big for him as he is really Awesome one as a Heel. He was named the most hated superstar and one of the most trash talkers in the history of WWE. Last time we saw him main eventing was the hell in a cell PPV in 2011 by forming the tag team with R-Truth. We would love to see him in the big stage once again.
