This week’s AEW Dynamite saw Hikaru Shida defending her women’s title, successfully before she puts it on the line again at AEW All In 2023. But unlike last night, she will have to defend the belt against not one but three top talents from the AEW Women’s division.
Over on the latest episode of Dynamite, Hikaru Shida managed to remain the reigning AEW Women’s World Champion. In her first title defense of the second reign, Shida successfully defeated Anna Jay in the main event match. The stipulation of the match said that the winner will qualify for the Fatal-4-Way title match at AEW All In 2023.
After the back-and-forth bout was wrapped up, Shida took managed to pick up the pinfall victory with her finishing maneuver, the Katana in what marked her second consecutive AEW Dynamite main event match.

Toni Storm received a bye to AEW All In 2023
The win made her the second woman to join the Fatal-4-Way as Toni Storm was the first to receive a bye into the bout. Storm got a direct entry into the match by exercising her rematch clause. Previously, Storm dropped the women’s title to Shida at AEW Dynamite 200 episode. Now, two more AEW female talents will join the fray, and qualifiers to determine those spots have been announced.
Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. has been booked against The Bunny, next week on Dynamite for the final spot in the match in the latter’s return to in-ring action. Also, Saraya will compete on AEW TV during this Friday’s Rampage against Skye Blue for the third spot in the Fatal-4-Way set for AEW All In 2023.
