AEW Dynamite 200 episode presented us with a shocker when Rob Van Dam debuted and with this move, the legend could have also been secured for AEW All In 2023. The former ECW Champion intended to retire the FTW Title, next week when he wins the belt from the current champion. But he’s likely to extend his AEW career at least until one of the next pay-per-view events.
RVD needed for AEW All In 2023 PPV in the UK
Sean Sapp reminded behind Fightful’s paywall that, “The Whole F’n Show just might be on The Biggest F’n Show outside of WWE in history.” That being said, it was also noted that at AEW All In 2023, the company’s creative team is thinking about giving Rob Van Dam a chance to perform in front of an 80000+ audience,
“Fightful Select has learned that there have been internal discussions regarding possibly bringing in former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam. Specifically one of the ideas that we heard mentioned him facing FTW Champion Jack Perry at All In or All Out, though none of this is confirmed as of yet.”

It was also noted in the report that the 52-year-old WWE Hall of Famer hasn’t wrestled on United States television in nearly three years. His last match on TV came under the banner of IMPACT Wrestling. But since then RVD stayed “semi-active, competing every year since 1990, and even working a NOAH date in 2022.”
RVD last appeared on WWE television as part of the 2023 edition of Draft. He was present for both nights of the draft to read the picks, but he was not present in the ring for any storyline or in-ring competition purposes. As of now, it’s clear how long his AEW contract will last or whether he would still be needed after AEW All In 2023.
This week on Dynamite, one of the all-time greats in ECW history and former ECW World Television Champion Rob Van Dam made his AEW Dynamite debut as he walked out to his classic ECW entrance theme “Walk” by Pantera to send the crowd of the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, nuts. RVD proceeded to have a confrontation with Perry in the ring before finally challenging him to a title match, next week.
If the current reports are any indications then that match will just be a filler before RVD and Perry competes in a title match at AEW All In 2023 or at AEW All Out 2023.
