AEW All In 2023 is being touted to be the biggest professional wrestling event in the history of the United Kingdom. Over 80000 tickets are reportedly out for AEW’s first overseas event in one of the most famous outdoor arenas in the world in the UK where a hometown favorite aspires to become a champion.
For weeks now, Saraya and her matchup on the homecoming occasion have been rumored for AEW All IN 2023 and that bout was finally confirmed during the August 11 episode of Rampage. On that night, Saraya defeated Skye Blue to advance to the already announced Fatal-4-Way AEW Women’s Championship Match within three weeks set for the PPV. The win expectedly come due to interferences from The Outcasts – Toni Storm and Ruby Soho.

For most of the superstars on the roster, AEW All In 2023 could be another big opportunity to showcase their wrestling skills in front of a jam-packed edition. As for Saraya, this coming appearance holds more personal significance than ever as she aspires to become a champion after a gap of almost a decade,
“I haven’t wrestled in my home country in around 7/8 years,” Saraya posted on Twitter about AEW All In 2023. “I haven’t won a championship in 9 years. I was told I would NEVER wrestle again. I’m coming home.. and I’m gonna walk out of Wembley Stadium in front of my family and countryman the AEW women’s world champion.”
AEW All In 2023: Saraya returns to the UK for a match since 2016
AEW All In 2023 will also be the first time that Saraya will wrestle in a match in the United Kingdom since April 2016. By the name of Paige, she competed on a “WrestleMania Revenge” tour for WWE. Shortly after, she headed into an injury hiatus before finally announcing retirement in 2018.
However, Saraya made a comeback to wrestling in AEW in 2022. Upon the initial announcement of AEW All In 2023, Saraya was always thrilled with the opportunity of wrestling in the UK which could bring in excitement as well as nervousness heading into a match. Now, she’s set to return to London, which is about two hours of drive from her birthplace in Norwich, England. Time will tell if she can leave the PPV with the championship gold clad around her shoulder.
