AEW All In 2023 has been announced as a brand-new addition to the company’s pay-per-view schedule. Almost five years, an indie show with the same name hosted by Cody Rhodes and The Elite led birth to the promotion led by Tony Khan and he was happy to reintroduce the show to the hardcore AEW fanbase.

As confirmed earlier, AEW All In 2023 will emanate from Wembley Stadium on August 27th in London, England and the buzz is huge among the pro-wrestling fans regarding this huge show. Tickets for the event went on presale, last night and the company sparked controversies as well as set some records.

To start with, the pre-sale for AEW All In 2023 at Wembley Stadium began and affirmed that the All Elite Wrestling promotion can certainly hope to be on track for the biggest show in history from their side. AEW CEO Tony Khan declared on Twitter that they had already sold 36,000 tickets, overtaking their previous record of 20,177 at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam from Arthur Ashe Stadium in 2021 for a margin of 15,000 tickets.

“Today’s one of the best days in [AEW] history,” Khan noted in his tweet and thanked the fans for their support. “We’re only getting started, more great seats are going on-sale! Let’s celebrate TOMORROW on Wednesday Night.”

Contrasts noted in AEW All In 2023 actual capacity from Wembley

In contrast, ESPN’s Mike Coppinger tweeted out to say that AEW All In 2023 could end up becoming a much small-scale show than what’s originally been expected, thus far,

“Hearing Wembley is scaled for only 40K for AEW – far cry from last April when I was ringside for Tyson Fury-Dillian Whyte, and it was packed to the brim with 94,000. Nothing beats the big-fight feel at Wembley.”

Tony Khan wiped out this rumor alongside one of the UK natives of the AEW roster, Saraya. She tweeted out to shut down this report as AEW All In 2023 presale numbers have reached really close to the 40k figure. This is what Saraya had to say in her post,

“How you gonna report on something when there’s a seating chart out there fam that shows the full stadium? And we already did that number just in pre-sales in one day alone not even general tickets yet. @espn come get your boy.”

AEW All In 2023 is certainly emerging to be perhaps one of the biggest pro-wrestling events and obviously the biggest in AEW’s history. From a non-WWE show perspective, it should beat NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 12 audience, which saw 43,000 fans in attendance. From old school days, an episode of WCW Monday Nitro saw 41,000+ fans in the Georgia Dome where Goldberg defeated Hulk Hogan for the WCW Championship. The upcoming AEW PPV should beat this episode, too.
