New AEW World Champion CM Punk was literally on fire during AEW All Out 2022 post-show media scrum. He addressed reports of being responsible for getting Colt Cabana removed from AEW TV, his issues with Hangman Adam Page, and then MJF’s will to leave AEW and possibly join WWE in 2024.
With AEW President Tony Khan by his side, CM Punk even called out “irresponsible EVPs” Kenny Omega and Young Bucks for “spreading lies about him” like having an influence on Tony Khan booking AEW storylines in recent times, specifically involving Cabana. The Second City Savior ended the AEW All Out 2022 media address by advising Page to “grow the f**k up.”

In today’s professional wrestling, such public comments about colleagues or others are unexpected and things weren’t likely taken, at all. Sean Sapp of Fightful took to Twitter to reveal that CM Punk is facing lots of heat at the moment. There could be a lot of repercussions coming towards him for the comments passed at the AEW All Out 2022 post-show scrum,

The source had also learned that “Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks were extremely pi**ed off” with Punk’s comments. One of the Fightful’s sources even claimed that the trio who won the AEW trio tag team title tournament at AEW All Out 2022 were also “threatening to walk” out of AEW over Punk’s rant.
It was previously indicated to Fightful that one of the Young Bucks — Nick and Matt Jackson had indicated with wrestlers outside of AEW that “the rumors about Punk and the frustration around him” were true. These kinds of revelations reportedly didn’t go well with the current AEW World Champion as he went ahead to vent out frustrations.
To make things even more interesting, The Elite, the AEW World Trios Champions at AEW All Out 2022, was initially scheduled for the post-show scrum but they were suddenly pulled out of it due to undisclosed reasons. As of this writing, it’s unknown whether Punk’s comments led to the top AEW Superstars not appearing in front of the media.
