After receiving an impromptu challenge just a night ago, Toni Storm was able to go through a successful title defense at AEW Battle of the Belts 7. Which marked the third TV title defense for the reigning champion, interference from The Outcasts members helped her to retain the title.

In the AEW Battle of the Belts 7 special, Toni Storm retained the AEW Women’s World Championship against Taya Valkyrie in a singles contest. The actual broadcast was interrupted which blocked the view of the match. But replays showed that The Outcasts member Ruby Soho came out to distract Taya which allowed Storm to secure the pinfall win.
