AEW Collision is going to be the third weekly show to be hosted by the All Elite Wrestling promotion within a week from now. As announced last week, the main event match of the debut episode was announced which will also mark CM Punk’s return to in-ring competition after almost eight months. Apart from that match four new matches have been confirmed for the coming episode.

During the latest episode of Dynamite, one of the top matches of AEW Collision will feature a title defense where AEW TNT Champion Wardlow will face Luchasaurus. A challenge from the latter’s side was issued via Christian Cage after Wardlow’s successful title defense on Dynamite against Jake Hager. Miro returning to action at AEW Collision June 17 debut episode

Also set for the AEW Collision premiere episode is the return of former AEW TNT Champion Miro in action since last September. At this point, he’s slated to be in action against an unnamed opponent. The former WWE United States Champion recently showed up on Dynamite indicating that he would be booked for the Saturday night show. Now, he’s also commented on his much-anticipated comeback.

AEW Collision: Four Big Matches Announced For Debut June 17 Episode 2

Miro hasn’t wrestled since All Out 2022 because he didn’t like AEW’s creative plans for him. This is why the decision was made to keep him off TV until they can come up with some strong ideas for him. A fan noted how it’s a terrible idea to put Miro on AEW Collision in reply to which he stated the following,

“How can it be terrible when it hasn’t happened yet? The debut episode is this Saturday, June 17th and The Redeemer will be there.”

The last match announced for AEW Collision will be a singles match between Buddy Matthews and Andrade El Idolo. Andrade is another wrestler who hasn’t wrestled in AEW since All Out last September. The episode takes place on June 17 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois and as mentioned above, CM Punk will team up in the main event with AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR to take on ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe & Bullet Club Gold (Jay White & Juice Robinson) in a trios Match.
