After having a strong outing on the Dynamite 200 episode, an episode of AEW Collision will be presented, this weekend which is certainly going to be a stacked one. Multiple title matches have been announced for the show with the main event featuring CM Punk in a match where he will be defending his championship.
Previously, on AEW Collision, CM Punk revealed his “real” AEW World Title from his mystery sack. Now, he will put that title on the line against Ricky Starks, this week. WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat will serve as the special guest referee in this match.
Almost a year ago at AEW All Out, CM Punk won the AEW World Heavyweight Championship for the second time in his career but he never got to enjoy the reign due to injury and some backstage happening. Both these mishaps caused him to get stripped of the top AEW World Title belt before he finally made his return to AEW Collision, earlier this year.

Now, he claims that title to be real and the other world title held by MJF to be the secondary one. Speaking of MJF, he’s been booked to defend his belt against Adam Cole at AEW All In 2023 in the UK.
In other matches announced for AEW Collision, Kris Statlander will put her TBS Title on the line against Mercedes Martinez. This will be her second title defense since defeating returning and defeating Jade Cargill, a few weeks ago. On that night, Kris also ended Jade’s undefeated streak with the title.
Also on AEW Collision, FTR will defend their titles against Brian Cage and Big Bill. This comes after they have already successfully defended the titles against MJF and Adam Cole on last week’s episode. Billy Gunn also seemingly teased retirement during last week’s show, and this week The Acclaimed will address what is actually happening regarding Gunn.
