Over the past couple of days, AEW World Champion CM Punk’s comments at the All Out media scrum infuriated some of the locker room members of the company as well as the professional wrestling industry. The comments have also resulted in a fight, backstage, moments after the scrum was over after Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks tried to confront him and broke into a room.
CM Punk reportedly threw punches at Young Bucks while his good friend AEW Producer Ace Steel bit Kenny Omega and pulled his hair. Also, Nick Jackson of The Bucks got hit in the eye with a steel chair. Heading into this week’s AEW Dynamite, Sports Illustrated provided the updates that everyone involved in this fight has been suspended.

– Michael Nakazawa
– Brandon Cutler
The source also reported that CM Punk and Steel were also on the suspended list. Besides they are the main characters of all the happenings that went down during the All Out media scrum and afterward. It was indicated that he will get fired from the company by the end of the night.

Tony Khan made announcements regarding CM Punk
Then on last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW President Tony Khan kicked things off by announcing that he’s forced to take the AEW World Championship away from CM Punk due t9 the recent instances while Kenny Omega and Young Bucks were also stripped of the AEW World Trios Championship. A new Trios Championship match was also announced on the show as the match lineup featured Death Triangle and Orange Cassidy vs. Best Friends.
Also, a new AEW World Champion will be crowned via a tournament where top Superstars of AEW will take place. The confirmed matches for the event are given below,
