Going by the earlier updates, a previous regular feature on AEW Dynamite, Thunder Rosa was about to return on TV after successful participation in a set of warm-up matches. Many assumed that it could take place at the bygone All In event in London, England but things didn’t go down as assumed. The good thing is that she’s still ready to be back in action on short notice.

Fightful Select reports that Rosa should be ready to return to active competition at “any time.” The insider belief in AEW is that she’s ready to return right away. The actual timing of her comeback will be however decided when a reasonable creative plan will be set for her on AEW Dynamite. There’s no update if AEW has any imminent plans for her to get involved in a storyline.

Thunder Rosa has been appearing on AEW Dynamite for commentary purposes. Heading into All In, she revealed of doing Spanish commentary for London’s Wembley Stadium show which stirred things up for an appearance. Many believed that she could have stepped to the newly become AEW Women’s Champion Saraya.

Thunder Rosa previously hinted at her return on AEW Dynamite

Also, previously Rosa appeared in a brief segment on AEW Dynamite in July to have a conversation with Tony Khan to hint at her return. Then she posted a clip on her YouTube vlog to provide a medical update via her conversation with AEW doctor Michael Sampson. The latter informed her that Rosa would have to compete in a 5-minute mini-match, and if she did well, she would be cleared.

The former AEW Women’s World Champion hasn’t been seen in competition since last summer. After being diagnosed with a back injury, she had to vacate the Women’s World Championship on the August 24 2022 episode of AEW Dynamite. It appears now she’s coming for the title that she never lost in the first place.

After holding the title for five months following her victory over Britt Baker in March 2022, Rosa continued to be champion despite having an injury. With an Interim Women’s Title being created, Rosa would ultimately be forced to vacate the title in November which officially made Toni Storm’s then reign recognizable.
